Training for May 2020
Here is my general layout for how I am going to train for the month of May. My current goal is to clean and strict press my body weight. Current max on C & P is 175 lbs. Bodyweight is 210 lbs. Have a gap to close so my training will be geared to attaining that while keeping a decent level of conditioning. I will be using Wendler’s 5/3/1 strength progression for C & P and the deadlift. Current max on DL is 425. Would like to get that back up to the 500ish range but a bodyweight C & P is the priority. A lot of sled work and weighted carries will be utilized for the varies benefits that they provide. I’ll be posting a daily recap with more detail on what goes into each workout. If things go right I should be closer to my goal by months end.
