GPP

Training:

20 yard bear crawl dragging the tire. The tire had a few chunks of wood 4 x 4’s, cinder block and a 35 lb plate in it. Followed directly by a 50 yard “sprint”. The sprint turned into ride on the struggle bus.

Repeat x 3.

20 yard bear hug carry (95lb stone) dragging the tire. Followed directly by a 20 yard sprint. This distance was spot on.

Repeat x 3.

10 minute walk dragging the tire with 10lb DBs in each hand.

Today we skipped our morning walk in order to save some time. I drove the dogs to daycare and Brigette took our recycling over to Topeka. Getting the dogs ready to transition from “country” dogs to a more suburban life is proving a little more difficult than we had thought, so we are using all the tools we have.

As far as training, it went great. Brigette and I used a “you go I go” format and that worked really well. Crawl, sprint and walk back. Took between 2 and 2 and half minutes. This gave enough rest to really get after it. Love workouts like this. Carry, crawl and sprint.

Tomorrow will be an active rest day as we continue to pack and prep the house for the grad party on Saturday!
