Training 05/12— 20 min continuous sled drag. Strong powerful steps. The harness should “snap” slightly with each step.

Training 05/13

Clean and Press: 3 x 5/3/1 @ 115, 135, 150.

Finisher TABATA with DB thrusters. 30 lbs each hand.

The moving pod is arriving today to so I kept my workout short and sweet. Actually, short and f-ing miserable is a better description of TABATA thrusters. 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest. Repeat 8 times. Done properly with a high level of effort this should be pretty brutal and an effective way to get a lot of work done in a short time.

My parents spent the night on their drive down to Florida. We had a great time and a good laugh playing Clue. Drew and Wyatt are lucky to have such awesome grandparents. They close on their new place in Florida on Friday and we close on our house end of the month. Crazy that we will literally be living on opposite ends of the country. Thank God for airplanes!
